The name Borghi of the freestanding washbasin, a solution we can already appreciate in the Albume collection, created by Gumdesign for the well-known furniture brand Antoniolupi, evokes an enchanting village in the Maremma, Bolgheri. Of this pleasant place, the designer seeks to recreate the colours and flavours of Tuscan tradition through the colours of the materials. The sink is available in the Cristalmood version: as resistant as a stone and as transparent as crystal, it is a resin that is poured manually into moulds and Icemood, which is instead a coloured, transparent resin with a satin finish, composed of a high-quality polyester resin and colouring pigments; the nuances chosen for these elements are Gran Cru, Oleo and Ceruleo, which recall the colours of olive trees, wine and sky.

The base of the Borghi freestanding washbasin is available in finishes of different materials and colours to suit the most diverse style requirements. It is possible to combine the washbasin in natural colours with a natural or toasted cork column or wood such as oak or Canaletto walnut to maintain an effect of closeness and recall to nature. Alternatively, the choice can fall on marble that is dark like Nero di Marquinia or light like Carrara and many others.
