Taif Chandelier by BAROVIER&TOSO
The Taif chandelier, one of the icons of the Italian luxury lighting brand Barovier&Toso, was born in 1980 to furnish the residence of the Saudi king in Taif, from which the chandelier takes its name.Angelo Barovier designed Taif with the intention of combining in a balanced way Muranese tradition and innovation in a single project, reinterpreting the classic taste in an original key. In fact, each element features a modern design while maintaining traditional materials and the techniques of the Barovier family, such as blown glass. The collection includes four chandeliers, available with six, nine, twelve or eighteen lights, and two wall lamps with two or five lights. Tha chandelier comes in various colors, from the most delicate shades to the brightest ones, while the finishes of the metal parts are available in polished chrome or galvanized gold (for the golden version).
Barovier&Toso
With its seven hundred years of history, Barovier&Toso is one of the oldest family-run businesses in the world, which has written the history of glass manufacturing with its craftmanship and passion. Currently considered one of the leading brands in the production of luxury lighting , Barovier&Toso is dated back to 1295, when the patriarch Jacobello Barovier was born, although the glassmaking family tradition started later on by initiative of his sons.
