The Assiale Table by B&B Italia, designed by Piero Lissoni, revolves around an engineering-architectural vision: the designer claims to have been inspired by the bridge that appears in the opening scenes of the famous film The Blues Brothers, during the protagonists' escape. Just like a bridge, Assiale appears suspended between the two supporting legs, alternating solidity and base with lightness and airiness. Its conceptual design and attractive aesthetics make it a table that stands out from the rest of the tables available on the market.
The Assiale Table is presented in two possible macro-variants: a fixed version in red Levanto marble or an extendable version with a lacquered finish, featuring narrow slats. Assiale has a monumental yet sober appearance and is designed to meet the needs of conviviality moments, whether with few or many guests. The practicality of Assiale goes hand in hand with the elegance of Lissoni's style.
The Assiale Table comes in a fixed version and an extendable version. Both variants are available in two different sizes:
Fixed version: Inch. 98 3/8" in width, 35 3/8" in deep, 28 3/8" in high (cm.250x90x72h).
Extendable version: Inch. 82 5/8"-115 3/4" in width, 35 3/8" in deep, 28 3/8" in high (cm.210-294x90x72h).
The fixed Assiale table is available in red Levanto marble with a glossy polyester finish and cannot be configured in terms of finishes and materials. The extendable Assiale table can be configured in both legs and top in a wide range of colors, with a glossy or satin finish.
