The eclectic Meltdown lamp preset by Cappellini and created by designer Johan Lindstén is available in three variants to meet every need: floor, table and pendant.
The floor version can accommodate five or eight diffusers, while the table version features a single spherical diffuser. The pendant offers three options: single, cluster with four diffusers or cluster with eight diffusers.
What makes the Meltdown lamp truly extraordinary is the craftsmanship of the coloured glass diffusers, mouth-blown on a mould. The colour palette offers a wide range of options, including amber, tobacco, pink, amethyst, light blue and dove grey. The introduction of the new green colour is intended to suggest the atmosphere of winter evenings.
A fascinating detail is that each glass is a unique piece, the result of the ancient art of master glassmakers. Any small air bubbles or differences in colour intensity are testimony to the craftsmanship and add a touch of authenticity and value to the object.
