Born from the creative ingenuity of designer Mario Bellini, the Cab Tab table is part of the Cassina line of design tables. In its creation we find the design approach that 1977 led Mario Bellini to conceive the iconic Cab chair, the world's first freestanding leather chair. Just like this new genre of seating, the table's structure takes inspiration from the relationship between skeleton and leather. Refined and elegant, the Cab Tab table involves a long and complex leather work that testifies to the expertise of Cassina's craftsmen.
The structure of the Cab Tab table, embellished with visible stitching at the points where the various parts join, is covered in leather by zippers along the inside of each leg.
The Cab Tab table top is available in wood or marble, in gloss or matte versions, while the leather base comes in a selection of natural shades, red, black, brown and blue.
