Gold medal winner at the IX Triennale di Milano in 1951, the Cassina's Lady armchair was the first armchair  to incorporate expanded polyurethane foam rubber. The slender metal legs contrast with the cushy upholstered parts, enhancing the lines.

Today its aesthetic is made even more contemporary thanks to the Cassina re-edition that makes it available in a selection of fabrics signed by Belgian designer Raf Simons.

Lady armchair has a variety of features

Structure: the seat is sprung with reinforced elastic straps for extra comfort, while slender metal legs emphasize the light elegance of the design.

Comfort: the upholstery of the armchair is made of cold-foamed polyurethane foam that provides durability, uniform support and resistance to sagging, flexible polyurethane foam that ensures a snug and comfortable seat, and polyester fiber wadding that adds softness and thermal insulation.
