The designer Francesco Binfarè has succeeded in creating an exclusive sofa, the result of years of technological research: the Standard sofa, a prominent and distinctive element of the prestigious Edra sofas collection. The Standard sofa is a modular sofa and the combination possibilities are endless because Edra manufactures a wide range of modules, giving the end customer the flexibility to create a wide range of configurations. A classic linear sofa can also be transformed into an angular or semicircular shape. In fact, in addition to the classic seating modules, Edra produces rectangular, hexagonal and irregular elements that contribute to the creation of a sofa that is certainly out of the ordinary.

The element that makes the difference in the Standard sofa is its mobility: the back and armrest cushions can indeed be shaped at will with a simple movement of the hand, becoming enveloping and extremely practical. Each of them operates by means of an internal mechanism and, with a simple, light pressure, can be folded forward, backward and, in some cases, flattened up to 180°, to create new sofa ideas and to fully satisfy the comfort needs of those who sit on it.
