Equatore Table Lamp by GABRIELE - OSCAR BURATTI

Conceived by designers Gabriele and Oscar Buratti for Fontan Arte, the Equatore table lamp is inspired by the classic abat-jour model, whose traditional lines and shapes it recalls, but differs from it in the light source, which does not come from inside the diffuser but from a metal band positioned on the outer rim. The band, which ideally recreates the line of the equator, is composed of two light discs, an upper one radiating the entire glass dome (with a diameter of Ø35.8 cm) and the lower one pointing downwards. The collection also includes a smaller version (cm Ø23.8), a floor lamp and a pendant lamp, all available in black chrome, chrome, copper/pink and gold finishes.
