The skilful pen of designer Lazzeroni, in creating the Calathea armchair, was inspired by the shapes of nature, in particular the leaves of the Calathea plant, from which it takes its name. The seat and backrest are made of curved plywood and padded with polyurethane foam, upholstered in leather or fabric, the accurate canneté work on the backrest making it a small work of upholstery. The back of the backrest is decorated with an inlaid wood finish, recalling the appearance of the Calathea leaf ribbing. The armchair features a powder-coated metal swivel frame, available in different finishes.

The armchair is available in numerous variants, with different base and upholstery options, to meet the demands of style and comfort. Thanks to its elegance and attention to detail, the Calathea armchair is an ideal choice for furnishing offices and refined work environments.

A guest version is also available with a fixed ash base.
