Carlo Colombo, one of Italy's leading architects and designers, creates the Karphi sofa for Giorgeti. In line with the company's philosophy, this timeless sofa reconciles tradition and sophisticated production technologies. The name chosen recalls Karphi (or Karfi), the archaeological area located on the island of Crete, often referred to as the "Machu Picchu of Minoan civilization." Large dimensions and volumes characterize the Karphi sofa, which conveys a feeling of solidity and comfort. Armrests and backrests are upholstered with a quilted cover embellished with "cordonetto" stitching that references the shape of Greek ruins.

Karphi is a series of modular sofas that lends itself to multiple combination possibilities, creating unique compositions each time. Terminal elements, central units, chaise longue and ottoman come together to form an ever-changing domestic landscape.

The cover of the Karphi sofa is fully removable and is available in fabrics or leathers from the Giorgetti line. The "cordonetto" embroidery can be tone-on-tone or contrasting, while the feet are made of beech.
