The S-Penny table, conceived by Massimo Castagna, emerges as an embodiment of a trend note that distinguishes itself through its ability to surpass the traditional boundaries of artistic expression and design. This work represents a captivating fusion of distinctive stylistic elements, nostalgic references to a retro past, and bold courage expressed through its dimensions and features.

One of the most unmistakable traits of the S-Penny table is its structure, characterized by a housing crafted from hand-burnished brass or H-Silver®, a variant of ultra-pure silver at 99.9% applied to brass, also hand-burnished using traditional methods. This intricate artisanal creation stands as one of the highlights within Henge's collection. The table's internal structure is realized in burnished black steel, further adorned with manual brass workmanship using time-honored techniques. The S-Penny table top is available in two sizes: with a length of either 340 cm or 280 cm. The top can be realized in stone - with various color and finish choices listed in Henge's catalog, excluding titanium - or in thermotreated wood. Available wood finishes encompass oak, black eucalyptus, swamp elm, all refined with natural wax and water-based oil.

Another forte provided by Henge is the extensive range of chairs that can be paired with the S-Penny table, such as the IS-A chair, and the unique suspension lamps, allowing for a complete synergy of style and design within the environment where it will be placed.
