Conceived by the brilliant designer Patricia Urquiola, Moroso's Fjord pouf finds its origins in a source of inspiration tightly linked to nature and its mutable configurations. The central design concept of the Fjord pouf springs forth from a fragment of a seashell, smoothed and shaped by the ripples of the sea, resulting in a collection of seating that gracefully fits into both domestic and public spaces. The Scandinavian influence, evoked right from its name "Fjord", summons Nordic aesthetics and pays homage to the renowned designer Arne Jacobsen. This influence translates into the distinctive element of the collection: an elongated cut that recalls the sinuous inlets of the Northern coasts. Patricia Urquiola's creative approach transforms the abstract notion of a broken form into a functional and aesthetically intriguing design masterpiece. The gentle and welcoming lines of the Fjord pouf cradle the body and beckon relaxation, while the meticulously crafted visible seams create an exquisite contrast with the essential structure.
