Designed by Jean Marie Massaud for Poltrona Frau, the Archibald stool stands out for its elegant lines and harmonious volumes, characteristic of this collection. Available in two versions, with a wooden base with four legs or with a metal stem, it offers a design choice adaptable to different needs. The version with a wooden base features legs made of solid ash wood stained Moka or Wengé, with a stainless steel footrest. This stool is available in two heights, offering options to suit different types of environments. The version with a metal stem has a swivel steel stem, which can be adjusted in height by means of a convenient lever positioned under the seat. Also in this case, the footrest is made of stainless steel. Both versions of the Archibald stool can be upholstered in either fabric or the fine leathers of the Pelle Frau® collection.

The backrest shell of the Archibald stools is made of moulded rigid polyurethane, guaranteeing strength and solidity. The inner padding is made of soft polyurethane and polyester wadding, offering optimal comfort. The seat frame is made of birch plywood, with a padding of polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The support frame connects the seat frame to the base, guaranteeing stability and solidity. The seat upholstery can be chosen from luxurious Pelle Frau® leather or a selection of high-quality fabrics.

The Archibald stool is versatile and adapts easily to different contexts. Its impeccable aesthetics, combined with a touch of nonchalance, make it perfect for contemporary residential spaces, as well as hôtellerie/hospitality settings.
