The Poltrona Frau Downtown armchair, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, embodies expertise, elegance and timelessness. It is a handcrafted masterpiece created by the masters of Poltrona Frau, who guarantee the highest quality. This designer armchair is not only a fascinating sculpture, but also a sensual and unmistakable creation. The Downtown armchair is available in five versions: President, Executive, Managerial, Meeting and Visitor. The upholstery, with tone-on-tone or contrasting stitching, is in fine Pelle Frau® leather. A version with micro-perforations on the inside of the seat, backrest, armrests and cushions is also available. Available in polished aluminium or black lacquer, the five-spoke base is fitted with soft, self-braking "W" type swivel castors that adapt to any type of floor. The President, Executive, Managerial and Meeting versions are also height-adjustable and self-rotating, thanks to a lever under the seat on the right-hand side.

Downtown armchairs are equipped with the 'Syncron' mechanism for the backrest and seat, which easily follows the body's movements and guarantees exceptional comfort. The mechanism can be locked in four different positions. The Downtown Meeting chair can rotate on its own thanks to a thrust bearing, while the Downtown Visitor chair has a swivel mechanism with automatic return to the starting position thanks to a thrust bearing.
