The DU 55 armchair is a 1950’s icon, introduced to the contemporary panorama by designer Gastone Rinaldi and realized by Poltrona Frau, leader in made in Italy design. Coherence, completeness and elegance are the characterics of this seat with rounded geometries.
DU 55 Armchair by GASTONE RINALDI
The DU 55 interprets the relationship between full and empty spaces, through the study of the thicknesses and padding. Poltrona Frau realized this model with a steel structure with moulded polyurethane foam padding, complete of elastic belts for the springs of the seat and the beckrest. The curved shell and sleek feet, in ash in a teak veneer with endpins in antique-finish brass, black or chrome, guarantee stability and comfort of this relaxing and welcoming chair. The DU 55 armchair is realized with upholstery in Pelle Frau® leather or removable fabric in a wide range of colours.
