This version of the GranTorino sofa is characterized by the synthesis of architecture and comfort, a rigid profile of masterfully-worked valuable hid leather or fabric, enveloped in soft padding upholstered in leather or fabric. The GranTorino HB sofa has a strong character and an irrepressible personality, that allows it to live alone or matched to rich versions of the same collection. Massaud has created an irriverent and original sofa, always featuring all the fascination and elegance of Poltrona Frau furnishings. The GranTorino HB sofa has a metal tubing structure with interwoven elastic belts, while the backrest and armrest are created from birch plywood. The sofa internal padding is covered with a soft quilting embellished with "X" stitching and padded in polyester wadding. Poltrona Frau enriched the backrest with a precise numbers of "moving" cuschions realized in goose down. The upholstery matches leather with fabric: leather for the vertical panels and removable fabric for base, cushions and quilting.
The saddle leather version is enriched by raised stitching and the clean-cut leather is finished manually. The sofa feet are in titanium colour coated aluminium, with protective plastic caps. The GranTorino HB sofa is completed with a small table with painted steel or titanium gunmetal base and plan in walnut or upholstered in Pelle Frau® or Saddle Leather Extra.
