The Montera chair by Poltrona Frau, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, is an elegant and fascinating seat that embodies the combination of fine materials and formal design. Belonging to the Montera collection, all pieces feature the same materials and finishes, lending cohesion and harmony to the entire series. The distinguishing feature of this designer chair is its shell, which is made of mould-curved multilayer beech wood. This choice of material provides a solid structure that guarantees the durability and strength required for a quality seat. The padding, made of polyurethane foam, offers optimal comfort for a pleasant seating experience. The shell is upholstered in two types of fine leather: Pelle Frau® on the inside and Cuoio Saddle Extra on the outside. This combination creates an interesting visual contrast between the two materials, emphasised by the contrast stitching on the edge. Also available in a version entirely upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather, in this case the stitching is made with tone-on-tone thread, creating a more uniform and refined look.

The legs of the Montera chair, as well as those of the armchair and stools in the same series, are made of solid ash wood stained wenge or mocha. This four-leg base gives the chair stability and solidity, while the black nylon spacers add a modern touch to its design.

The Montera chair can be consistently combined with Poltrona Frau's Bolero table, offering perfect visual harmony in the overall décor of the space. This combination of well-coordinated design pieces offers a complete and refined aesthetic experience.
