Poltrona Frau's Vanity Fair armchair, designed by Renzo Frau, is a masterpiece of design that represents the excellence and elegance of the brand. Officially known as 'model 904', it was renamed Vanity Fair from 1984, becoming an icon in the world of interior design. The supporting structure of the armchair is made of seasoned solid beech, guaranteeing solidity and durability. Attention to detail and craftsmanship are reflected in the use of different types of upholstery. The seat is moulded with vegetable horsehair, which is shaped by hand to ensure maximum comfort. Rubberized horsehair is also used to ensure a soft feel. The seat cushion is filled with goose down, offering enveloping comfort.

The comfort of the Vanity Fair armchair is further enhanced by the springing from biconic steel springs. These springs are hand-tied and fixed on jute straps, ensuring optimal support for the body. The ergonomically shaped seat, backrest and armrests provide ideal support for relaxing and enjoying moments of pure comfort.

The distinctive design of the Vanity Fair armchair is characterised by its volumetric configuration. The sinuous, welcoming shapes lend a timeless elegance, making it an iconic presence in any setting.
