The design of the Aksel writing desk, by Meneghello Paolelli, is characterized by the fusion of the lightness and strength of solid canaletta walnut wood, the grain of which is enhanced by the natural finish. The wooden worktop is divided into two clearly distinct parts separated by a gap: the main desk top in Canaletta walnut with a solid edge and a back band in Canaletta walnut, marble or leather Plus. The top is supported by legs in Canaletta walnut, connected at mid-height by two uprights, from which a further transverse link extends to fix the central part of the top. The structure contributes to accentuating the linearity and stability of the design.

The versatility of the Aksel writing desk is ensured by the possibility of inserting a series of accessories in the gap between the two parts of the top, such as an oval-shaped pencil holder or a round-shaped holder.
It is also possible to choose the position of the drawer on the right or left side when ordering.
