New Porada collection at Milan Design Week

The 2024 Milan Design Week was an exceptional opportunity for Porada, not just to showcase its new design offerings that seamlessly blend aesthetic beauty and functionality but also to reaffirm the prominent role the Brianza-based brand plays internationally in the design furniture industry Made in Italy.

Among the most interesting products presented by Porada during the 2024 Design Week are the seating options, including the Vera sofa designed by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, noted for its elegance and functionality, the Rami bench by Staffan Tollgard & Filippo Castellani, which aesthetically mirrors the lines and forms of the Tillow tables collection, and the Ginkgo armchair by Niccolò Devetag, a splendid relaxation chair made of solid canaletta walnut with an external leather shell. The Calin XL armchair offers a perfect balance between wood and fabric, structure and comfort, elegance and innovation, while the Dione chair by David Dolcini reinterprets the classic tub chair with a touch of originality. The seating section is completed by the Podi stool by Emmanuel Gallina, a simple yet distinctive piece of furniture, and the elegant Twilli chaise longue designed by Giuseppe Viganò.

In Porada's new collection, tables also play a crucial role, including the Amphora table, available with a wood or marble top to meet various project needs, the Askos coffee table, and the Podi coffee table, which bring dynamism and movement to living spaces. The Oswood table, born from the collaboration between Porada and French designer Patrick Jouin, stands out for the continuity of its legs, which extend through the thickness of the marble top, allowing the natural veins of the canaletta walnut to be admired. The Bay table, with its imposing legs, easily becomes the centerpiece of any space, while the Jig coffee table (with a beautiful glass base) and the Fritz 7 coffee table (with its simple and essential lines) are perfect complements for elegantly filling smaller spaces.

During the 2024 Salone del Mobile in Milan, Porada also introduced a new writing desk and two new consoles, ideal for those who love incorporating functional yet aesthetically refined elements into their home or office. The Moty desk by Umberto Asnago includes a round mirror in the storage compartment, making it perfect for furnishing a study area or bedroom. The Rami console and the Rami Backsofa console have simple shapes but with significant thicknesses that make the product solid and organically pleasing to the eye.

Also noteworthy are the new living room furniture pieces presented by the Lombard maison this year, such as the Aria bookcase, characterized by an industrial style that lends itself well to creating open spaces, and the Matics bar cabinet, a contemporary and elegant piece ideal for those seeking uniqueness in design. Moving towards the bedroom area, the undisputed protagonist is certainly the Klem bed, a combination of rigorous lines and comfort, perhaps accompanied by the Bayus Night 2 night stand or the Bayus Tondo 3 night stand. Also intended for the bedroom are the Bayus Night 6 chest of drawers and the Bayus Tondo 7 chest of drawers, which echo the forms of the previously mentioned bedside tables, expanding their dimensions.

Last but not least are the accessories, such as the Chiaroscuro board game, the Fortyfive mirror, available in three different sizes to fit perfectly into the most diverse interior projects, whether private residences or contract spaces, and the Rami Tray in canaletta walnut, simple and functional.

Thanks to these numerous and refined creations, Porada has reaffirmed itself as one of the most interesting furniture and design brands at the Salone del Mobile 2024, standing out with furniture that managed to emerge among the wide range of participating brands and new products.
