A perfect blend of modernity and tradition, the Iron bench became part of the collections signed by Riva 1920 at the 2019 Milan Design Week.
The Italian designer Giovanna Azzarello, historical collaborator of the Made in Italy furniture company, has managed to combine the tailoring and the link with the traditional techniques at the base of Riva 1920's production, with the contemporary aesthetic taste and avant-garde materials. Iron is, in fact, characterized by an essential and linear design, in which the metal base raises the seat and the backrest, thus slenderizing it figure. To embellish the structural minimalism of the bench contributes the upholstery in fabric or leather with elegant visible stitching that run along the perimeter and the central part of the seat and backrest.
