Vitrea is one of the novelties that the renowned Made in Italy furniture brand Riva 1920 presented at the 2019 Milan Design Week.
Its essential and modern design was conceived by the duo of designers Giuliano and Gabriele Cappelletti, historical collaborators of the Italian brand, who were able to combine craftsmanship and research into raw materials with the contemporary taste for formal cleanliness and functional elements. The Vitrea sideboard is, in fact, a piece of furniture in which the geometric and linear structure is aimed at highlighting the solid wood of which it is composed, worked according to the skillful artisan techniques that determined Riva 1920's international success.
Vitrea is entirely made of wood, in the various finishes of the collection, and features an iron base with a peculiar sled shape, which lifts it from the ground and lightens its volume. The front comes with transparent smoked or with squared relief glass doors, while the interior features some shelves and drawers illuminated by an automatic LED lighting system.
