The Yin & Yang chair is part of the homonymous collection presented by the renowned design furniture brand Riva 1920 among its 2019 Milan Design Week novelties.
Born from a project conceived by the internationally renowned designer Steve Leung to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Italian company, Yin & Yang is a line composed of chairs and coffee tables centered on the dualism of antithetical elements, as professed by the Asian philosophy from which it takes its name , creating a harmonious and balanced overall effect, which derives from the balance of opposites.
The Yin & Yang chair is, in fact, composed of a solid solid wood structure entirely turned, assembled and polished by hand, whose stability is counterbalanced by the fluidity of the open cone that makes up the seat and the backrest. The interior is covered in soft suede leather with visible stitching, which harmonize the rigidity of the wood.
