The Guise wall lamp is part of the collections signed by Vibia, a Spanish company specialized in the creation of high quality lamps and lighting systems.
The German designer Stefan Diez, author of this particular lamp, has designed its figure to show off the interplay between light and matter, creating an object that appears and disappears according to the light itself. In fact, the borosilicate glass circle that makes up the diffuser disappears when the lamp is turned off and takes shape only when it is turned on, creating on the wall a fascinating play of light and shadows that reminds a solar eclipse. The collection also includes the ceiling and suspension version, the latter named among the winners of the 2019 Wallpaper Design Awards.
