The Quaderna mirror is a distinctive element of the collection, designed by Superstudio between 1969 and 1972 and produced by Zanotta. This collection is considered a manifesto of radical design, and the mirror joins a series of square furniture pieces that characterize the system. The design of the Quaderna 476 mirror draws inspiration from the sculpture module called the "Measuring Mirror," used by the group's architects to study the effects of a continuous and potentially infinite surface. This attention to detail and precision craftsmanship is essential to preserving the uniqueness and integrity of the original idea of the Quaderna collection. The convergence of the lattice lines gives the furnishings of the Quaderna collection a homogeneous appearance and distinctive character, highlighting edges and details visually.
